History

The “Bulletin of AUPET” journal is a subscription periodical with free access. It is published to familiarize the Kazakh and foreign scientific community, undergraduates, Master’s degree and PhD students with any scientific knowledge relevant in the field of fundamental and applied sciences. In June 2008 the non-profit Joint-Stock Company Almaty Institute of Power Engineering and Telecommunications has established and regularly publishes the scientific and technical journal “Bulletin of Almaty Institute of Power Engineering and Telecommunications”. The certificate of registration of the media has the number 9040-N of 03/11/2008. In connection with the change in the status of the founder, the journal is re-registered as the "Bulletin of the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications." The certificate of registration of a periodical has number III 24-Ж of September 2, 2010. On the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the journal was assigned the subscription index 74108. The journal is registered in the international center for registration of serial publications with the assignment of the international number ISSN No. 1999-9801 of September 16, 2008.

The main thematic focus of the journal: Heat Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Radio Electronics, Radio Engineering and Telecommunications, Information technology, Ecology, Life Support, basic and social sciences, problems of higher education.

Distribution Territory: Republic of Kazakhstan, CIS countries.

The impact factor of the Journal has been observed by the Kazakhstan citation base “National Center for State Scientific and Technical Expertise” since 2010. The contract with the "National Center for State Scientific and Technical Expertise" is valid until 30.06.2022.

According to the impact factor "Bulletin of AUPET" in 2016 was in 12th place out of 130 scientific journals of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and among the scientific and technical journals in 3rd place.

In 2017 among 149 scientific journals of the Republic of Kazakhstan, “Bulletin of AUPET” was in 10th place, in scientific and technical direction, also in 3rd place.

The journal is included in the list of scientific publications recommended by the Committee for Control in Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan to publish the main results of scientific activity (Appendix 1 to the order of the Chairman of the Committee for Control in Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan from “10 "July 2012 No. 1082) since 2013 in the sections:" Physical and Mathematical Sciences "and" Technical Sciences and Technologies "(in the field of energy, computer science, radio engineering and communications).

The journal collaborates with the largest technical universities and scientific organizations of Kazakhstan, with a number of foreign universities, including the Riga Technical University, the Ural Federal University, the Angela Kanchev University of Rosen, the Sorbonne University, St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, Moscow Power Engineering Institute, and Belarusian State University computer science and radio electronics, Omsk State Technical University and several others.

The current composition of the editorial board was approved at a meeting of the Academic Council No. 1 dated 09/04/2019 includes authoritative scientists of Kazakhstan, Russia and the countries of near and far abroad.
